Facilities at the Venue:

Transport

  • Teams will be met at Dublin Airport and delivered to their Hotel on Thursday June 15th. If teams arrive earlier than June15th, special arrangements may be required. Buses will not be available. Wheelchair accessible taxis are available in Dublin. Subject to payment by individuals.
  • Teams will be collected from their Hotels each morning. All buses are wheelchair accessible with lifts. There is also a large coach available with space for 16 wheelchair users and additional space for those who can transfer.
  • Teams will be returned to their Hotels each evening and will be collected for delivery to the Airport on Monday June 19th.

Hotels

  • Bewley’s Hotel, Newlands Cross, Dublin will be the main Hotel used for the weekend. In case of over capacity, other Hotels of greater and lesser quality (and therefore price to the teams) will be used.

    Bewley’s at Newlands Cross has been used on many occasions by IWA-Sport.

    There are 6 fully adapted rooms and all other rooms can be used with ease.

  • The entry fee per team member covers bed only at the hotel. As Bewley’s provide a buffet style breakfast, with varying prices, each team must pay for breakfast and additional room costs prior to departure. IWA-Sport accepts no responsibility for these costs.
  • Bewley’s Hotel will not deal with individuals. If you have any queries relating to the accommodation, please advise Clare O'NEILL who will follow it up.

Meals

  • Friday 16th and Saturday 17th :
    Served in dining area beside Sports Hall.
    • Packed Lunch - sandwiches, drink, fruit and chocolate bar.
    • Evening meal - Hot meal with desert.
  • Sunday 18th:
    • Hot meal only at approx. 1pm
    • No other meal provided
